Ana Aranda Balcazar
Born and raised in Mexico City, Ana graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she currently lives and works.
Her biggest inspirations are her childhood memories, the vibrant colors from Mexico and music. Her work focuses in transforming the every day live info fantastic situations, surrounded by nature and whimsical creatures. You can see her work in books, murals and art exhibitions.

Jeslyn Kate Cantrell
Jeslyn graduated from the Ringling College of Art and Design. She can almost always be found doodling, carving woodblocks, printing or teaching art to kids (a few of her most favorite things)! She lives in the San Francisco Bay area where there are many cute things and interesting people to use for unending inspiration.

Suzanne Kaufman
Suzanne has been monkeying around with children’s books, animation and cartoons since she was little. Her character-driven art starts from her sketchbooks or animation desk and later painted digitally.
She’s done everything from animating special effects for Universal and Discovery, to animating award-winning video games. She currently lives in Seattle with her husband and daughters, and is a senior lecturer for film and video game animation.

Kathryn Ault Noble
Before teaching design/digital painting/concept art for 14 years, she worked as a senior designer/art director, then later represented by Susan Trimpe as an illustrator in Seattle. Her Northwest gardens, goats and chickens continue to inspire her illustrations as she works in a new Illinois studio.

Dorothia Rohner
Dorothia’s love of art, nature and imagination began as a child growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She graduated with a degree in natural science illustration and worked as a scientific illustrator for several years. She currently works from her home studio surrounded by woods, overlooking a small pond. Her illustration, ”Firefly Forest” was the Grand Prize Winner at 2014 SCBWI Bologna Illustrator Gallery, Bologna Book Fair.

Robin Rosenthal
Robin is an illustrator and art director living in Brooklyn. She graduated in 1995 from Yale with a B.A. in Art. In 2012, she started the blog Pen & Oink with two fellow illustration nerds and it has given her a great excuse to approach her illustration idols for interviews.
