There's no sham...Thanks for the valuable vocab. There's no shame in having a pile of books, as long as you plan to read them. When I hit a certain age and did a few calculations, I realized I could never read the number of books in my home even if I lived to be 95, and that doesn't include adding new books to the pile! I made major changes to incorporate books that are important into my life and letting go of the ones bringing me guilt or wasting my time.
